Overview:

Perform service and repairs in the shop at our West Branch, Iowa location.

Working Hours/Days:

7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday- Friday, overtime & weekends as needed

Basic Duties:

  • Focusing primarily on Terragators, Rogators, Claas Lexion Combines, and Fendt.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and all other systems.
  • May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a formal technical training program preferred or 2 years of AG machinery knowledge and experience required.
  • Electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills needed.
  • Basic computer skills are needed especially with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Outlook and CAT Programs.
  • Must have knowledge and previous experience working with parts books.
  • Possess good communication skills and able to lift 75-100lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be a self-starter and able to adapt to change.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

 

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:

This position works in a warehouse/shop environment. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75-100lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. May intermittently sit at a desk for a period of time to answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through email. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Overview:

Provides administrative support to the Altorfer AG Products service managers and the service staff. 

Working Hours/Days:

8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday

Basic Duties:

  • Customer billing.
  • Processing field campaigns/tracking.
  • Processing technicians time/service reports.
  • Processing warranty credits.
  • Responsible for processing and managing payroll
  • Answering overflow of incoming calls, answer general inquiries about inovices and assist customer 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a secretarial, accounting/payroll or other clerical experience required
  • Ability to read/ interpret documents such as service literature and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write and complete routine reports and correspondence forms.
  • Must have good math skills and the ability to interpret basic statistical reports.
  • Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning and organizational skills and committed to detail.
  • Ability to work on their own, work under pressure, adapt to change in a fast paced environment and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent customer communication skills (written, email, and verbal) are a requirement of the position.
  • Must be able to join and support an existing team, while sharing common goals and values. A positive and can-do attitude is a plus, with the ability to adapt to a ever-changing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Agriculture background preferred.
  • Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and outlook required. 10-key experience and able to type 40-50WPM preferred.
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance to Clinton, IL.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

 

Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:

This position works primarily in an office environment. May, on a continuous basis, sit at a desk for a long period of time; answer telephone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Perform in the field service repairs on agricultural equipment. This position covers the agricultural market in the following South Central Illinois territory. Counties included, but not limited to: Sangamon, Logan, Morgan and Menard county.

Working Hours/Days:

8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday –Friday, weekends and overtime as needed to handle to customer demand

Basic Duties:

  • Perform in field service and repairs focusing primarily on Terragators, Rogators, Claas Lexion combines, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Challenger Tractors and other CAT Ag products.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and all other systems.
  • Focus on establishing and maintaining service-oriented relationships with customers.
  • Use computer and parts books to look up certain parts.
  • Complete service reports and all other paperwork before and after repairs are made.
  • May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a formal technical training program preferred or equivalent Ag machinery experience and knowledge required.

Must be able to climb/operate machinery and various types of farm equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. May sit at a desk for a period of time to answer phone calls or use a keyboard to complete documents and communicate through email. Working Hours/Days:

8:00am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotation schedule and to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Basic Duties:

  • Responsible for shipping/receiving parts.
  • Load and unload trucks, operate forklift.
  • Responsible for keeping track of inventory storage.
  • Order picking activities- pick parts orders and stock new inventory that comes in for Parts Department.
  • Assemble hydraulic hoses.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping of the warehouse.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of previous Warehouse experience preferred.
  • Computer literate required. Familiar with programs such as UPS Worldship for shipping & receiving, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment when entering the shop or warehouse.
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills required
  • Must be a self-starter, team oriented and commitment to detail
  • Strong attendance record is required.  
  • Forklift experience is needed and customer service oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75-100lbs.

Working Hours/Days:

8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday –Friday, weekends and overtime as needed to handle to customer demand

Basic Duties:

  • Perform in field service on Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Challenger Tractors, Ag Chem Rogator and Terragator sprayer/spreaders,  Claas Lexion Combines and misc. short line companies. 
  • Must live in  Altorfer Ag Central Illinois territory
  • Possibility of some overnight travel

  • AG machinery knowledge and experience preferred but not necessary.
