Receive Your ANSI Certification for Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP)

ANSI A92.24.6.1 states “Only personnel who have received training in compliance with this Standard regarding the inspection, application, and operation of MEWPs, including recognition and avoiding of hazards associated with their operation, shall be authorized to operate a MEWP.”

Operator Training: Certifies Attendee to Operate MEWPs

On average, class time is 4-5 hours.
Class is divided into 3 sections: Classroom, Walk-Around, and Hands-on.
Training Topics: MEWP Groups & Types, ANSI A92 Standards, Hazards Involved in Operation, Selection of the proper MEWP for the application, Stability, and Proper Operation.

Supervisor Training

ANSI A92.24.6.5 states “All personnel that directly supervise MEWP operators shall receive training identified in this standard for the “Supervisor”

On average, class time is 4-5 hours.
Class is divided into 2 sections: Classroom and Walk-Around.
Training Topics: MEWP Groups & Types, ANSI A92 Standards, Hazards Involved in Operation, Selection of the proper MEWP for the application, Stability, and Proper Operation.

Train the Trainer Instructor Training

Certifies attendee to train operators and supervisors using manufacturer’s training material in accordance with ANSI A92.24.5.1.

Similar to operator classes with emphasis on instructing, managing class topics and time, focusing on specific points of importance, and understanding ANSI A92 standards as they relate to inspection, maintenance, use, application, and safe operation.
Average time frame depending on attendees is 4-6 hours.
