Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include shipping/receiving, inventory storage, and order picking activities for the Parts Department. Complete required paperwork and computer data entry. Provide primary material handling duties within the department. Assist with customer parts counter sales processing. Build hoses for customers. Ability to look up part numbers in equipment parts books or online resources and assist customers is helpful. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:  Previous warehouse experience required. Lift truck experience required (certification preferred). Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail. Must have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: Outside sales position covering the following Iowa Counties: Linn and Johnson Sales Territory. Sell and rent new and used Caterpillar compact construction equipment such as: Skid Steers, Compact Track Loaders, Compact Wheel Loaders, Telehandlers, and Mini Excavators to end users. Provide excellent customer service. Achieve maximum sales (new / used) and profitability in assigned territory by working with both existing customers and targeting new accounts. Have a firm understanding of the used equipment market in order to effectively sell used machines and asses trade values. Prepare sales presentations, reports and sales quotes. Qualifications:  Three to five years of sales experience required. A four year business or marketing degree is preferred or equivalent experience in business or marketing. Construction and Agriculture experience desired. Ability to understand, explain and implement sales and financing programs. Must be a self-starter with good time management. Willingness to travel to trade shows, training sessions as required. Must reside or relocate within the assigned IA territory. Power Systems Rental Technician

Responsibilities:  Responsible for Power Systems Division rental fleet while at the Altorfer shop. Responsible for all units (generators and other types of equipment such as: compressors, chillers, a/c, heaters, cables, distribution and more). Responsible for rental fleet unit check in & check out, unit readiness (functional runs and appearance), and basic troubleshooting/PM. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating and interacting with all customers to ensure weíre meeting their expectations. Deliver and assist with loading & unloading project components on the customerís job site. Assist with set up, basic troubleshooting and repairs if needed. Coordinate with other service & part sources (Non-CAT specific) when needing to order certain unit parts or services to repair/fix returned fleet unites. Complete rental documentation for customerís unit status. Responsible for completing rental paperwork for Power Systems records and maintaining unit status. May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.

Qualifications:  Completion of formal technical training program or minimum of three yearsí relevant experience is preferred. Previous experience working in a field related to electronic diesel engines, fuel systems, generators, air compressors, heaters, air conditioning etc. is preferred. Computer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and various CAT Programs. Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment. Excellent planning & organizational skills are needed. Must take initiative, be team oriented and willing to adapt to change. Ability to respond to callouts, work overtime and weekends when needed. Provide backup assistant regarding customer calls, payroll, and work orders. Review shop tools and determine actual tooling needs for daily and future expectation to improve tech productivity. Works with the Service Trainer and assists with scheduling technician training. Assist managers with performance reviews, employee interviews, wage reviews, employee complaints, and technician advancement opportunities. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:  Minimum of 2 years previous supervisory experience required. Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and technical training needed. Ability to handle and problem solve service issues that might occur in a professional manner. Ability to coordinate multiple technicians in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. Computer literate required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Access and Outlook. Must be a self-starter with good time management and ability to multitask. Previous engine, power train, hydraulic, service repair and maintenance knowledge is necessary. Experience in DBS and SIS networks is recommended. Knowledge of safety requirements and protocols. Must have the ability to express ideas and influence others in a positive manner to accomplish long term goals. Ability to write professional business communication by email or letter is required. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills are needed. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and willing to work extra hours when needed.
