Shop Technician

Responsibilities: Work with new, used and rental equipment. Pre-deliver and inspect new machines, install attachments, update software. Will need understanding of Vision Link and have ability to install. Inspect and repair used equipment per used equipment manager. Be extremely detail oriented in the preparation of new customers machines. Operate equipment in a safely manner to find diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. Establish and maintain a service oriented relationship with customers and supervisors. Complete service reports in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Successful completion of a formal technical training program with a minimum of three yearsí experience required. Must be detail oriented with ability to work within a team. Computer literate. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook. Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop. Must be a self-starter with good time management. Excellent planning & organizational skills required. Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed. Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary. Must be able to lift up to 75-100lbs and provide your own tools. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Responsibilities: Perform service and repair compact construction and building construction products. Trouble shoot, repair and install Cat Vision link on all machines. Troubleshoot and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems. Provide excellent customer service to all customers. Operate equipment in a safe manner to find diagnostic errors, technical problems, and determine proper solutions. Establish and maintain a service oriented relationship with customers and supervisors. Order parts in equipment parts books or online. Complete service reports and enter the proper data into the computer systems. Other duties as assigned. Technician will be based out of the Cedar Rapids facility.

Qualifications:  Successful completion of a formal technical training program with a minimum of four yearsí experience required. Must have engine, electrical, hydraulic, diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills. Computer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook. Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment. Must be a self-starter with good time management. Excellent planning & organizational skills required. Must be team oriented and willing to adapt to change. Previous experience and knowledge of part books. Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed. Truck Engine Service Technician

Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, Electronic diagnosis, and repairs to Caterpillar truck engines along with O.E.M chassis components. Operate A/C recovery machine. Repair air brake operations & ABS systems, wheel end components: seals, bearings, and brakes. Repair drivetrain: clutch, transmissions, and differentials. Complete engine overhauls: in frame and out of frame (Class 7 & Class 8 vehicles). Communicate with customer and supervisor. Complete the proper documentation and data. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Technical school graduate or equivalent experience required (experience will be considered). Knowledge of CATERPILLAR truck engines, engine electronics, air brakes, (ABS) systems, air conditioning and drive train components required. Knowledge of safety requirements is preferred. CDL preferred but not required. Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, organization, and commitment to detail. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills are needed. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and willing to work overtime when needed. Able to lift 75lbs. Computer literate, PC experience with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, CAT Programs, and Outlook is required. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities: The Payroll Specialist will report to the Payroll/Benefits Manager.  We process pay for 817 employees. You will start out processing the bi-weekly payroll (250 employees) and eventually switch to processing the weekly payroll (350 employees).  In addition to payroll processing, you will help with benefit reports, HR reports and filing.  This position will be a back-up support to our front desk team who handle phone and mail duties.

Qualifications:  1 - 3 Years of Payroll processing experience required. Previous ADP experience highly preferred. Advanced attention to detail along with being highly organized. Ability to multi-task and absorb interruptions throughout the day. Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook. Proven customer service skills. Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with others. Positive, friendly, can-do attitude. Some local travel will be required. AA or BA highly preferred.  HS graduate required.
