Payroll/Benefits Assistant

Responsibilities: The Payroll/Benefits Assistant will report to the Payroll/Benefits Manager.  This is an addition to staff and we estimate that general duties will be payroll, benefit reports and admin, HR reports and filing.  In addition, this position will have front desk phone and mail relief and back-up duties. Payroll:  Will be trained to process the biweekly payroll and be the back-up for weekly and monthly payroll for a total of 800 employees over 3 states.  Will be fully cross trained in payroll and act as the first back-up to the Payroll Specialist. Benefits:  Mail benefit related notices and assist with the preparation of benefit remittances and applications. Reports: Will prepare benefit and 401(k) reports and assist with remittance contributions. HR:  Assist the Director of HR with special projects; assist HR Admin/Recruiter when needed (job postings, background checks); thoroughly learn ADP to assist with ADP 7.0 upgrade and eventually learn how to run reports as requested. Administrative:  Filing, make new hire packets and other duties as assigned. Will be one of two primary front desk phone/mail relief personnel when our receptionists are absent.

Qualifications:  1 - 3 Years of Payroll processing experience required. Previous ADP experience highly preferred. Advanced attention to detail along with being highly organized. Ability to multi-task and absorb interruptions throughout the day. Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and Outlook. Proven customer service skills. Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work with others. Positive, friendly, can-do attitude. Some local travel will be required. AA or BA highly preferred.  HS graduate required. Shop Technician

Responsibilities: Perform service and repairs on Caterpillar and other types of heavy equipment. Trouble-shoot and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical and all other systems. Provide excellent customer service to all customers. Operate equipment in a safely manner to find diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. Establish and maintain a service oriented relationship with customers and supervisors. Look up part numbers in equipment parts books or online. Complete service reports then enter the proper data into the computer systems. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal technical training program with a minimum of three yearsí experience required. Must have engine, electrical & hydraulic diagnostic, trouble shooting and repair skills. Computer literate required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook. Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop. Must be a self-starter with good time management. Excellent planning & organizational skills required. Must be team oriented and willingness to adapt to change. Previous experience and knowledge of part books. Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed. Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary. MSHA certification is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 75-100lbs and provide your own tools. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Parts Counter Specialist

Responsibilities:  Assist walk-in and phone customers with sales and other needs. Computer input of parts orders, billing, stocking and selling of supply items. Ship and receive freight using a basic forklift to load and unload trucks. Operate a basic forklift and pallet jack to pick or move inventory when needed, and responsible for keeping record of parts inventory. Use computer parts books system to look up certain parts and process orders as they come in. Other parts and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  Minimum of 2 years previous experience in parts operations, inventory control and warehouse experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge and clear understanding of the core parts operations needed. Must be dependable, well organized, and possess proven first-rate customer service ability. Previous forklift and pallet jack experience needed. Basic computer skills are needed especially with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Outlook and knowledge of DBSI preferred. Ability to lift 75lbs, climb ladders and stairs on a daily basis. Must have valid driverís License (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate), and CDL preferred.
